The REAP Trustees are deeply saddened to share that Nick Burn who was a Trustee died suddenly in January 2026. This was a shock to us and to his wife and son and family.
Nick was a Trustee from May 2021 taking on the role as Treasurer, which he did most ably. He was able to engage in fundraising which resulted in funds for the Vetiver and Stoves programmes in Kenya; With these new funds the work has increased with more field visits and community engagement. Nick was briefly chair of Trustees. We are grateful for all that Nick contributed to REAP and we continue to offer our prayers and comfort to Nick’s family.
This sudden loss left REAP with 2 Trustees, so Stephen Burgess, who had moved on in December 2025, has returned to be a Trustee and appointed chair of Trustees.
