Natural Medicine Training at Eldoret AIC Missionary College March 2025

Eldoret AIC Missionary college

From March 24th to 27th 2025 two of the REAP team conducted a four day training seminar for the students of the Africa Inland Church (AIC) Missionary College in Eldoret.  REAP has been able to conduct such a seminar every two years for the students of the college in order to equip them for ministry in remote areas.  Most of the missionaries graduating from the college therefore have a basic understanding of the value of Natural Medicines.

Rev Rosalia Oyweka and Pst George Matengo conducted the training which included plenary classroom teaching and substantial practical sessions.  The training is similar to training given in other contexts but with a special emphasis on facilitating mission.

There were 17 particpants.  Most of the students were Kenyan but there were also 4 Ethiopians and one Tanzanian.  As Bible students the Biblical basis for the teaching was well received and very important for them.
