Christian Women in Development
One of the greatest potentials we see in working with churches is the midweek women’s fellowships where a group of women faithfully meet together for singing, Bible reading, and prayer, and have a strong sense of commitment to each other.
These women are hungry for teaching and much of the holistic teaching we are developing is particularly directed to these fellowships as a channel.
We have a specific emphasis on improved rural kitchens including fuel efficient stoves.

We teach women how to make various things from body lotions, shoe polish to chilli ointment.

We have many ideas on using local resources and re-cycling plastic bags and bottles.

We have found that our various initiatives with women have had an added bonus of improving their self-esteem.
